Everyday Activities That There are two facts of life with which every family deals: 1) families consume a variety of products, and 2) those products must be purchased. Listed here are several ways you can generate funds for WCA as you live out these two facts of life... at no additional cost to you! It all comes out of company profits that are set aside for community outreach. Remember, this type of fundraising helps to provide our teachers with state of the art teaching tools, helps to keep our tuition low, and ultimately helps to provide our students with the highest quality of education. Used and Worn-out Shoes Yes, you read that correctly, used and worn-out shoes. This is proof that one man's trash is another man's treasure. We are looking for lady's and girl's worn-out shoes, the more worn, the better. We receive money from a company that performs product research on which part of the shoe "wears out" first. The best shoes for the research are dress shoes and dress flats, but any shoe is helpful. When donating your used shoes, please bag each pair of shoes with the names of the wearers attached. The researchers track wear patterns and style changes over time from the same individuals. If you are uncomfortable attaching the names, just place them in bags. |
