American Christian Honor Society

"The American Christian Honor Society (ACHS) was founded by AACS in 1979 to honor qualified high school students in member schools and to be uniquely Christian in its emphasis. The American Christian Honor Society seeks to:

1. Advance Christian Scholarship

2. Challenge Christian Leadership

3. Honor Christian Character

4. Stimulate Christian Service"

At Wilmington Christian Academy, this includes opportunities to serve the public through the Angel Tree Ministry, Work on Wilmington, Life Chain, and many more. Within the school itself, there are chances to serve through multiple channels, one of which is the Teacher's Assistant Program.

Group 52

The WCA high school student body is divided into small groups.  This  program is identified as Group 52.  This name comes from prayer, work, and fasting described to us in the book of Nehemiah.  Our high school small groups meet together to pray, study God’s Word, and to connect spirituality as brothers and sisters in Christ.  Our seniors at WCA have the opportunity to lead the Group 52 small groups and mentor those students placed in their care.

Teacher Cadet

The Teacher Cadet program offers high-achieving, academically talented students the opportunity to improve interpersonal and leadership skills while introducing them to teaching as a career. The cadet program seeks to provide high school students from a biblical  insight into the nature of teaching, the problems of schooling, and the critical issues affecting education today. Cadets will interact with administration, teachers, and students in a hands-on learning environment.
